What non-custodial means

With a custodian (exchange, bank), the provider holds the keys. With Bitcoin & Satoshi, they live on your device.

We cannot authorise transactions, freeze balances, or recover lost wallets. That is not a gap — it is the product.

Recovery phrase

During setup the app creates a seed phrase. Write it down offline and store it away from the phone.

Anyone who knows the phrase can restore the wallet on another device. Share it with no one. Do not photograph it into a cloud album.

If you lose both the phrase and the device, the coins are gone. There is no master key on our side.

Device and updates

Protect the phone with a system PIN, biometrics, and a current OS. Do not sideload the app from unknown sources.

Always confirm receive addresses in the app — not only from screenshots or chat messages.

Third parties (MoonPay and others)

When you buy bitcoin with fiat you use a separate, often licensed service. Their identification, limits, fees, and blocklists apply to that purchase.

Once the payout is on-chain, only Bitcoin’s rules apply — not the partner’s, and not ours.

Age and responsibility

Send and receive are not age-locked. A minor can hold keys on their own device. Losing the phrase still means the coins are gone — for a child as for an adult. There is no recovery desk.

Buy and sell with fiat open only at the age of majority where you live, and only through the partner’s own checks. We cannot undo a partner’s decision, and we cannot move coins after they arrive.
