Short answers about the Bitcoin & Satoshi wallet.
What is Bitcoin & Satoshi?
Bitcoin & Satoshi is a self-custodial Bitcoin wallet for iPhone. Balances are shown in BTC and in Satoshi. Your keys stay on your device.
Is it non-custodial?
Yes. Only you hold the recovery phrase. We cannot see it, move your bitcoin, or reset it.
On-chain or Lightning?
Both. You can use Bitcoin on-chain and over the Lightning Network.
How do I back up and restore?
The recovery phrase is created on your device. Write it down and keep it offline. To restore, enter that phrase on a device you control. Each wallet has its own phrase.
What are the fees?
You pay Bitcoin network fees. There is currently no app fee when you buy.
How do I buy Bitcoin?
Buying runs through the external partners MoonPay and Ramp. They carry out their own identity verification (KYC). Bitcoin is sent on-chain to your wallet.
What is the Lightning address?
A Lightning address (LNURL) looks like an email. It unlocks after you hold at least 1,000,000 sats for 7 days in a row. The sats stay in your own wallet.
How is my privacy handled?
There is no tracking and no analytics. Your keys never leave your device. Details are in the privacy policy.
Where is the app available?
The iOS app is in TestFlight beta. The App Store release follows.
